Hi, I'm Raven! I live in the Live Oak area and homeschool my daughter, having guided her education since 1st and 2nd grade and continuing through 6th grade and beyond. I also have a son in college.
I’m passionate about exploring patterns, symmetry, and writing math proofs. I love spending time outdoors, whether it's walking with my family among the trees at Henry Cowell, strolling along the beach, or creating art. I also strive to maintain a daily yoga practice.
Growing up, I found school challenging because it required sitting still and focusing on one thing for long periods. As a teacher, I recognize that each child has a unique way of learning, both in the classroom and in the world around them. One of my greatest joys is helping kids develop their critical thinking skills and build confidence in their abilities.
I'm excited to meet everyone this fall!
